Sonoma Sandalwood's "Fencing in Beauty" Macro Photography - April 2014

Ms. Sandalwood works out of her private home studio in Texas. She is currently pursuing her MFA in Fine Art Photography. She is inspired by the abstract works of photographers Minor White and Eliot Porter, as well as the works of Imogen Cunningham, Edward Weston, and others. She tends to look for the small points of beauty hidden all around us.

As a fine art photographer, her current focus is macro abstract photography - or capturing those small points of beauty most never notice. From the wonderful patterns in nature, to a crack in the wall which unexpectedly turns out to be more than what meets the eye, beautiful abstracts are everywhere.

Visit Sonoma's Macro Fence Photography exhibit at the OZLAND Art Gallery for the month of April and make sure you take home the free gift that she has for guests who visit this exhibit!
